Hi there! I’m Jutta, a self-taught painter based in Helsinki, Finland. In my work, I portray people and the beauty of the world that surrounds me.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. Making art has always been a part of my life, ever since I was a little kid. Even though I have always carried my pencils with me wherever I went, it wasn’t until I moved back to Helsinki in 2017 after living many years abroad and travelling the world, that I switched pencils to paint, started studying art on a deeper level and begun painting regularly. I found oil painting and fell head over heels in love with it.
My art is a reflection of my life and the people around me, a medium through which I can communicate my innermost emotions and experiences to the world. Through my art, my aim is to explore the depth of human emotion and the connections that bind us all.
Beyond my fascination with people, I draw inspiration from my love for life and the insatiable wanderlust. I believe that the world is a masterpiece, and my travels serve as a wellspring of inspiration for my work. You can find beauty in every corner of the globe.
